Jimmy Carver is a pianist/keyboardist and arranger, and is a veteran of the Calgary music scene. He hails from St.Vincent and the Grenadines, and started his musical career playing for a Calypso dance band which played all throughout the Southern Caribbean.

He was a part of the the emerging West Indian Toronto music scene, and has toured in Japan, Morrocco, The Middle East, and India, with the late Skip Pollard. Calgary is now his home and when he is not playing with PowerHouze, he is happy to invest his time and energy into the new generation of artists coming up. He has been the house pianist at various hotels around the city and has toured with Ebony, Pam Crawford and Double U-I.
